Lago Mar is a beautiful neighborhood in Virginia Beach, VA, long known for its location near the SE rural section of the city with large lots, wide streets, and wooded properties.
Named for it’s location near “Lake” and “Sea”, our neighborhood is located near Lake Tecumseh and the Atlantic Ocean, and near some great outdoor recreation and entertainment venues including Sandbridge Beach, Back Bay Wildlife Preserve, farms & vegetable stands, Virginia Marine Science Museum, the Oceanfront area, and numerous athletic facilities. Whether one likes to shop, pick up fresh-from-the-farm produce, kayak, bike, walk, run, surf or swim …. it’s all only minutes away.
This is both a neighborhood within which to find peaceful refuge as well as a place from which to set out and enjoy some of the best the area has to offer.
The volunteers in our neighborhood, including the Board of Directors and many others make living in Lago Mar truly special.
