The owner of 2221 Vadito Way is currently renting out his pool house on a short term basis. The owner is requesting a variance to turn his pool house into a separate dwelling unit. There is a hearing on October 4, 2017 at 2 PM EDT to discuss this with the city.
The Lago Mar Civic League opposes this variance because it could devalue our homes and threaten the things we love about Lago Mar. It's one thing to convert your pool house to an in-law suite for a family member and another to rent out your pool house to different people every weekend.
